Charity Coffee Morning a Huge Success

Hi all,

A huge thank you to everyone who helped to make the Captains' charity coffee morning a success on Saturday.

To the cake makers, the members serving teas, coffees, cake and bacon rolls and washed up.

To the members who organised the tombola and raffle and everyone who donated prizes for both and to those who donated books for the bookstall.

To the members who collected the money, ran the book stall and organised the games.

Without you all giving your time and energy these events would not happen.

A total of £772.85 was raised on the day which will be split between Parkinson’s UK and the RNLI. A further £250 in private donations, qualifying for gift aid, was raised for Parkinson’s UK.

If anyone was unable to attend the coffee morning but would still like to donate you can give the money to Maddie. These will be kept private and added to the final total.
